Chamfered Corner Countertop Basin
The chamfered corner countertop basin replaces four rectangular corner points with short diagonal sides. D582’s top plan has eight perimeter segments: four main sides and four cut-corner sections. Its 400 × 295 mm outside footprint remains longer on one axis, rather than forming a regular octagon. Shallow horizontal bands run across the outer wall and follow the changes of direction at the corners. The inside stays plain around one central floor drain. This white ceramic body is 120 mm high overall and listed for above-counter mounting. No tap platform or separate overflow is represented. The diagonal corner sections make its outline distinct from either a sharp rectangle or a rounded-corner body.
Shape & size
Shape and size of D582
Four short cut-corner sides
Diagonal segments replace rectangular corner points
Four main straight sides are joined by four shorter diagonal sections. The resulting eight-segment outline keeps unequal 400 mm and 295 mm outside axes.
Horizontal relief across changing faces
The outer bands follow the polygonal perimeter
Shallow horizontal bands cross the upright outer walls and continue at the corner sections. Their direction remains horizontal rather than forming long vertical ribs.
An unpatterned bowl inside the bands
A plain interior around one floor drain
The bowl surface does not repeat the outside horizontal relief. One central floor opening is shown, without an integrated tap deck or separate overflow.
400 × 295 × 120 mm overall
The complete envelope of the eight-segment D582 body
The long and short axes describe the outside footprint. The 120 mm figure is total ceramic height; internal bowl depth and capacity are not stated.
