GL37 Petal Rim
Petal cutting placed at the rim of a wide round
GL37 is recorded with a petal-cut rim. The pattern sits at the edge rather than across the wall, on a bowl 460 mm across.
The rim is the detail on show
At counter level the rim is what the eye meets first. A cut edge changes the outline of the piece, which is a different effect from a patterned side.
Wide at 460, low at 125
A broad diameter with a shallow standing height reads as a dish. That proportion works on a wide single vanity where a tall bowl would dominate.
Rim treatment, wall treatment and base treatment are three separate ideas here. All three appear in the glass vessel sink range.
Fit & Clearance
Allowing for a 460 mm diameter on the counter
Diameter is the constraint on this one. It measures 460 mm across with a 125 mm standing height.
460 mm of diameter needs a top wider than a typical 600 mm cabinet allows once the tap and the side returns are included. Check the cabinet schedule before this model is quoted in.
The petal cutting sits at the rim, which is the edge that meets a splashback. Ask for the rim drawing if the design calls for the bowl to sit close to one.
Confirm the cabinet width before committing this diameter to a schedule.
Construction & Finish
Edge detail is where a glass rim is judged
The material entry does not describe the edge, only the substrate.
Rim named, edge finish not
Petal-cut rim is the description given. How the edge is finished is not recorded on this specification.
That is worth a direct question, because the rim is handled every day and it is the first thing a showroom customer touches. Ask for a close photograph of the edge on the code you plan to list.
Use the supplied edge photograph in your own listing rather than a generic image.
Compliance
Separating catalogue copy from submittal evidence
Reviewers want dimensions and written confirmation. Send those and keep the descriptive copy for the showroom.
Nothing in the GL37 specification names a certification, a standard or an approval. Descriptive wording about the rim is catalogue copy and carries no compliance weight.
For a specified job, ask for a dimensional drawing and a written statement covering what can be issued for the destination market. Submit those, not the catalogue page.
Procurement
Splitting GL37 between retail and project stock
One hundred pieces opens an order on GL37.
A wide decorative bowl usually sells through a showroom rather than a project. If part of the hundred is going to trade counters, ask for that portion in retail packaging and the rest in bulk.
Two packing formats on one order are set up at quotation stage through the SANIKB OEM and ODM program.
Include these details with the RFQ
- Quantity per GL37 suffix
- Split between retail and bulk packing
- Rim and dimensional drawing
- Close photography of the edge
- Destination port and Incoterm
- Requested delivery window
Raise the two packing formats before the quotation, not after it is issued.
How we work
From enquiry to shipment
A factory-direct process built for importers, distributors and project buyers. No trading layer in between.
-
01
Send the enquiry
Tell us the model, quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging requirement. A spec sheet or drawing helps but is not required to start.
-
02
Our sales team contacts you
A named account manager follows up by email or WhatsApp, confirms the specification and clarifies anything missing before pricing.
-
03
Quotation
You receive a written quotation with unit price, MOQ, packing details, lead time and the trade term you asked for. Entry, mid and premium build levels can be quoted side by side.
-
04
Sample approval
We send a sample for finish, function and packaging sign-off. Branded samples are produced once artwork is confirmed.
-
05
Production and shipment
Mass production starts after sample approval and deposit. QC and inspection run before loading, then the order ships to the agreed port.
