PETAL ROUND

Sizing the widest round in the glass line

Hotels, multifamily blocks, retail chains and showrooms ask the same first question about a feature bowl: how much counter does it take? For the GL37 petal-cut rim round glass vessel basin 460 mm, the answer is a circle of 460 mm plus the tap.

RIM DETAIL

A petal-cut edge instead of a patterned wall

Petal cuts follow the lip of the glass, so the edge carries the design. The rim is where the hand and the eye meet, so that is where the cut work sits.

On Clear Glass with Gold Rim GL37-J and Clear Glass with Blue Rim GL37-L1, the cut edge stands out against a transparent body. In Smoke Grey, Amber or Champagne, the petals blend into the tint and read more softly.

At 125 mm tall it is lower than our spiral and starburst rounds but higher than the fluted and diamond-cut rounds.

Sapphire Blue GL37-S is a full-body color that none of our other glass rounds offers, which helps when a hotel wants one room type to stand apart. Bathroom accessories can then stay plain.

Retail buyers should remember that a 460 mm round is a generous bowl. Include the width of the vanity in the product notes on the display so shoppers can check the fit before they buy.

Champagne GL37-CP is also made on our diamond-cut round, so a project can run one tint across two round sizes: GL37 in the main bathrooms and the smaller, lower round in secondary ones. Rim height then changes very little from room to room.
