CABINET FIRST
Fitting a 27 inch undermount kitchen sink
Start with the base cabinet, not the bowl. A 27 inch undermount single bowl sink like 27189R-T hangs entirely below the counter, so the cabinet has to clear a 27" × 18-5/8" outline and the stone edge becomes the visible rim. As a stainless steel kitchen sink in 304 stainless steel, it is made for undermount installation.
One wide bay
The bowl dimensions are 25" × 16-5/8" with no divider, so large pans and stockpots sit flat and the cook never works around a partition.
Five tooled depths
Bowl depth runs 6", 7", 8", 9" or 10". Shallow depths suit low cabinets; 10" gives the most capacity.
Two sheet gauges
Sink gauge is 16 gauge (1.5 mm), the heavier sheet, or 18 gauge (1.2 mm), lighter. Outline and finish stay identical either way.

BEFORE CUTTING
Countertop and cabinet checks before templating
Give the fabricator the 27189R-T spec sheet to template the countertop opening. The base cabinet and its supports must clear the exterior dimensions, the full 27" × 18-5/8" (686 × 473 mm) body underneath.
Leave counter space behind the bowl for the faucet and any soap dispenser. The drain opening is 3-1/2", so check the waste line against the bowl depth you pick.
With quartz or solid surface as the countertop material, the stone edge runs straight into the bowl, so the reveal is a fabrication decision. Agree it with the fabricator in writing before the first cut is made.
Noise-reduction padding is already attached to the underside of the bowl when cartons leave Foshan, so installers have nothing extra to fit.

Choosing between two 27 inch single bowls
Our other 27-inch single bowl measures 18" front to back and comes in four depths. 27189R-T adds 5/8" of outline and a fifth depth, 10".
Pick 27189R-T when the cabinets are deep and the kitchen cooks in large vessels. Pick the shorter body when the counter run is tight. A double bowl sink splits the width into two smaller bays; this deep single bowl keeps it open. Either way, measure the clear cabinet width first, because doors and side panels take away usable space.
Mixed-depth schedules are common in multi-unit work: shallow bowls in compact apartments, 10" bowls in family kitchens. Because the footprint never moves, the cabinet shop can build one carcass for every unit type.
Depth changes only the bowl. The outline holds from 6" to 10", so one cabinet drawing covers every unit in a mixed-depth project. Gauge works the same way: 16G and 18G share the outline, so the choice rests on the project specification.

Container planning for 27189R-T
Minimum order is 50 pcs. Gauges and depths can travel together in one mixed 1×20 ft container, all with the same satin finish, which suits developers who need shallow and deep units in the same building.
Buyers who resell usually split the first order across two or three depths, then reorder the one that moves. That pattern works here because every depth shares one outline and one 3-1/2" drain opening.
